Kolimat, a believer in its own technology, sponsored in 2009, Italy’s Simone Origone (www.simoneorigone.it) who became the “Fastest Man in the World” (registered in the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records) attaining a very impressive ski speed of over 155mph (250kph) surpassing his own previously set record. The courage, passion, strength and the technology behind this extraordinary undertaking are the same elements that support and shape our company and serves as the common

Mission Antarctica.

Antarctica 2pm January 5, 2008, four instructors of the Military School of Aosta (Italy) reached the summit of Mount Vinson making this an extraordinary achievement that has echoed around the world.
This goal was achieved in collaboration with Kolimat who supplied materials for the team affording them the capability of withstanding extreme temperatures of -22 F (-30 C).
The members of this team accomplished this 16,000 ft (4897m) ascent in 8 days.
